The world heritage guide.

The World Heritage Guide contains everything you need to know about the rock carvings and the Bronze Age in Tanum. Find your way in the landscape, listen, read and learn!

The World Heritage Guide acts as your personal tour guide in the landscape. It shows you the way to the four large rock carvings made accessible and contains information specific to the images and the landscape in each place when it suits you - you choose!

The guide includes a map to help you find the rock art sites in the World Heritage area. If you click on the map/audio guide for each rock carving area - Vitlycke, Aspeberget, Litsleby and Fossum, you can listen to the audio guide which you will find under the heading of media files at the points of interest on the maps. In the audio guide, you can also take part in our exciting fictional story that brings to life events based on the images you see among the rock carvings.

In the Facts Files under the heading Media & Documents you will find a big part of the history that you also take part in in our exhibition at the museum. Here you can find information about life in the Bronze Age, motifs, research, interpretations and theories.

The events calendar lists up to date information on programs and events that is happening in the World Heritage Site, ranging from children's activities, lectures, courses to concerts and much more.
