During the summer, we offer open guided tours at the Vitlycke Rock Carvings and activities in the Bronze Age Farm. Exciting experiences await the whole family.

Daily Activities

Guided Tours at the Vitlycke Rock Carvings

June 22-September 13

Join one of our guides and discover the famous rock carvings – ships, people, animals, and symbols carved more than 3,000 years ago.

Time:

  • 11:30 – English
  • 13:00 – Swedish
  • 15:00 – English
  • Meeting Point: At the Vitlycke Rock Carvings (approx. 300 m from the museum)
  • Duration: About 30 minutes
  • Included in the admission fee

Life in the Bronze Age Farm

June 22-August 30

Visit our reconstructed longhouses and craft houses and try your hand at Bronze Age crafts.

  • Time: Daily, 11:00–16:00
  • Location: The Bronze Age Farm at Vitlycke Museum
  • Activities vary throughout the day and are adapted to weather and visitor numbers.

Good to Know:

  • The guided tours take place outdoors – bring sun protection or an umbrella if needed.
  • Admission ticket required.
  • Children, youth under 20 years and students (holders of a student ID card): free admission
  • Tickets are available in the museum shop.
