The exhibitions at Vitlycke museum

Sweden’s largest and most spectacular hoard from the Late Bronze Age has now arrived at Vitlycke Museum.

The exhibition Images from the Past explores a forgotten history through the film Bronze Age and photographs from its 1954 production.

Join us on a journey through time to the Bronze Age world in Tanum. You get to know some of the contemporary inhabitants in Tanum: Akaz, Alawin, Glicc och Glär - people recreated based on archaeological findings.

The Bronze Age Farm – the rock carver’s daily life. The farm contains reconstructions of two longhouses, from the Early and the Late Bronze Age

The boats are located just outside the entrance to the museum. The playground consists of two ships that resemble those from 2500 years ago.
