Guided tours

Vitlycke Museum offers both open tours with no need for pre-registration and bookable guided tours for groups of all sizes.

Drop‑in tour (no booking required)

The drop-in tours to the rock carvings at Vitlycke, are included in the entrance ticket to Vitlycke museum. No pre-registration is needed. Tickets are available in the museum shop.

Guided tours in the autumn

Saturdays and Sundays, from September 19 to September 27, 14:00—14:30. Guided tour at Vitlyckehällen in English.

Bookable tours

Whether your group is large or small, you are welcome to submit a request. All bookable tours include entry to the exhibitions and the Bronze Age Farm. Tours can be given in Swedish or English.

The Spear God’s panel ~1 hour~

The Litsleby Rock Carvings are the most accessible rock carvings in the World Heritage. The most famous rock carving on this panel is called the Spear God. It is 230 cm long and the tallest human figure in Scandinavia.

The Vitlycke panel in 60 minutes

At this panel there are almost a hundred ships, the longest being over 3 meters. The rock panel also contains 87 human figures, including the most famous rock carving in the world heritage – The Bridal Couple.

We accept bookings year-round, except for when the rock carvings are covered in snow and ice.

The organizer is responsible for any transportation to and from the rock carving areas.

Outside regular opening hours, an additional fee of 500 SEK per hour and per staff member applies.
